Tiffany Wisteria Lamp Reproduction For Sale

One of the most iconic design styles to come out of the Louis Comfort Tiffany studios was the wisteria design. Characterised by many hundreds of small pieces of glass welded together to form a cascading flowing design in blues and greens, this design is known the world over as a standard for beauty and form.

An original Tiffany is such a prized antique. In 2013 the exquisite Tiffany Wisteria leaded glass lamp pictured below sold at Sotheby’s auction for $1.56 million.   Wow! How is that for an old light fixture? It certainly is a beautiful piece, and will continue to hold its value as more and more people appreciate the magnificence of the Tiffany Studio designs.

This is a fabulous looking reproduction lamp that really exudes the beauty and elegance of the real thing. Hundreds of hand cut pieces of glass are used to make this Wisteria design. The glass is soldered together in the traditional Tiffany style. Leaded glass at its best.

The blue, pale blue, green and black are stunning colours that showcase  the weeping wisteria tree and flowers to great effect.

A solid cast metal base is included and it is very solid and quite heavy.

The lamp stands 28 inches tall and is 17 inches in diameter.

Whilst is does not have the feel or quality of the original, this reproduction Tiffany Wisteria lamp is quite beautiful in its own right.

This lamp is also modeled on the Wisteria line of lamps from the House of Tiffany. It is had made and has an unbelievable 1898 pieces of glass in the lampshade. All delicately cut, and soldered together in this stunning design.

The greens, blues and purples give an amazing display of lead light glass and will lift any room in which it sits. Gentle filtered light will whisper through the glass petals and flowers and will be a stunning center piece.

The base is solid cast metal in bronze tone and as a tree trunk, is solid and strong.
