The Bieye L11409 Rose Tiffany Style Stained Glass Table Lamp is a very good example of a Tiffany reproduction lamp that lifts the quality to a level beyond the  fast made factory products that most reproductions tend to be. This is a high quality lamp with a beautiful design and solid base. The rose is stunning in red and orange, contrasted with the green leaves and opaque trim. All Tiffany style lamps carry a certain allure, and this one is no exception. The Rose design is less common than the dragonfly or other designs, but it is every bit as striking.

Hand Cut Glass

The lamp shade is made using the traditional lead lighting technique perfected by the Tiffany studio. Glass is had cut, and pieced out in the design, copper lined and soldered together. The process is time consuming and a real art. The vendors for this lamp claim to have 688 pieces of hand cut glass. Now I haven’t counted each piece myself, but there is a lot of hand cut glass in this lamp shade. It is a bright red and orange that captures your attention. The lilac flowers at the bottom of the shade are pretty. And this is all set against a lovely green and whitish foliage made with green and opaque textured glass. It is really nice design, with a stunning centerpiece of the roses.

How many glass jewels?

This lampshade has 120 glass jewels that adorn the design. That is more than a smattering, and really lift the lampshade to dazzling sparkling heights. The cabochons add an elegant touch to the design.

Solid base

The base is made from a cast zinc alloy that is solid and durable, and finished in a bronze color. The lamp is 16 inches in diameter and 23 inches tall. It stands solid and has two pull chains to operate the two bulbs. Each bulb can be up to 100W.

This is a well made lamp and the quality of manufacture stands it above many of the other Tiffany style lamps available today. Unfortunately there are some dodgy ones out there, but this one comes with a higher price because it has a higher standard of workmanship.

The lamp is solid in size and weight. We love the two 100W globes as this will mean that it will put out significant illumination.

This lamp will look great on a coffee table or sideboard. It commands attention due to the stunning colours it exhibits. It is not really the lamp you put on for some quiet reading with soft muted light. This is about putting on a show, and it does that very well. It is suited to a central place in the house.
