The lamp shade comprises hand cut shards of stained glass which have each been wrapped in fine copper foil. The workmanship on this lamp is impressive. The lamp has lots of tones of blue and red and green and yellow. It is quite a vivid look; bright and colourful. The pieces of glass are fitted precisely and a dragonfly design is outstanding. Then wings look great. There are glass beads incorporated into the design which gives it a ‘bejeweled’ look. It really is smart. The overall look is one of exciting colour lit up magnificently by the two light bulbs. It will take your breath away – light on coloured glass – puts a smile on every face.

The floor lamp stands an impressive 60 inches and has a diameter of 18 inches. It has twin pull chain switches that are unobtrusive. The pull chains are a little unique feature that you do not get with many lamps – most are press button, or in the case of floor lamps, foot button!
The lamp uses two 60 watt bulbs. We recommend a low wattage LED light bulbs for durability and energy consumption. Some people put in a slightly dimmer bulb for when you want the dimmer light in the room, just the one dim bulb can give a pleasant low light atmosphere.

No, they don’t hang too low. Ordinary bulbs will come close to hanging below the shade, but not quite. You can instead look to obtaining some low profile LED light bulbs that are less bulky and will not hang too far down.
